Oisca in Australia has grown from its close research and development linkages with OISCA PNG .

Agricultural Sector
Oisca.au aims to service the Australian Agricultural, Horticultural and Forestry sectors with trained and reliable staff to address chronic shortages of labour. We consider early training of Pacific Island staff as a key for growing the Australian economy, while also strengthening the social, cultural and economic ties with our closest neighbours. Our commitment to developing expertise in the Pacific will enhance regional stability and benefit the livelihoods of rural Pacific communities.

Regional Partners
Oisca.au is currently working closely with Oisca PNG to review vocational training. The aim of the review is to align student knowledge and skills with the rigours of commercial production. This is considered essential for developing student pathways to meet the international demand for productive workers. The review will encompass a comprehensive appraisal to establish its strengths, weaknesses and develop a long-term business plan. Self Discipline
OISCA is an acronym for Organisation for Industrial Spiritual and Cultural Advancement. Oisca was established as an International NGO in Japan in 1961 and are active in over 41 countries around the world.
Oisca was founded on principles of self-discipline and respect where students are engaged in personal development training. From the outset of their experience at OISCA PNG students are developed in the practice of daily incremental improvements in industry, spirit and culture. In this way graduates of the program are prepared for contributing to the wider world, beyond just their technical skills.
